Terms of Service

Eligibility

PurProwler is only for adults who are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use adult-oriented social discovery services in their location. By creating an account, tapping the sign-up agreement, or using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any safety notices shown in the product. Do not use the service if you are under 18 or barred from using it by local law.

User content and conduct

You are responsible for content you upload or send. You must not upload illegal content, content involving minors, CSAM, non-consensual content, harassment, stalking, spam, impersonation, threats, doxxing, commercial sex solicitation, trafficking-related content, exact private-location sharing, or content that violates another person's rights.

Posting photos and video

You may post photos and video. By posting, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) every person who appears or is depicted in the content is at least 18 years old and has consented to being depicted and to your posting it; (c) you have all rights necessary to post the content; and (d) on request you will provide records sufficient to verify the age and identity of anyone depicted, as required by applicable law including 18 U.S.C. § 2257. You grant PurProwler a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transcode, reproduce, and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You are solely responsible for your content and for maintaining any records the law requires of you.

Public surfaces must stay safe-for-work. Profile photos and Prowl posts are visible beyond a private conversation, so they may not contain nudity or sexually explicit imagery. Nudity belongs only in private chats between consenting adults. Uploads to public surfaces are screened, and content that does not meet this standard may be rejected at upload or held for moderation review.

Child safety

We have zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, we preserve it, report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law. Attempting to upload such content, or content depicting anyone under 18, will result in removal, account termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting.

Nearby Walls

Nearby Walls are nearby discussion markers. They are not listings, directories, or endorsements of real-world sites. A wall remains visible until its creator, a wall admin, or a wall moderator deletes it. Optional wall event metadata may expire after the event window while the wall itself remains available. Do not use a wall to identify a private home, school, shelter, medical facility, exact personal location, or any other sensitive site.

Location and safety

The app uses location to power nearby discovery. Use caution when sharing personal information or meeting anyone. Blocking and reporting tools are available for safety concerns. Access may be limited by jurisdiction blocks when local law, age-verification requirements, safety risk, or compliance review requires pausing service in a region.

Moderation

User content is subject to moderation. Photos, video, group messages, and Nearby Wall posts may be reviewed for safety signals such as abusive language, external contact requests, doxxing, minor-safety concerns, threats, and commercial sex solicitation. Any user content, including video, may be automatically hidden when enough distinct users report it, and may be removed, restricted, escalated, or reported. We may block, remove, preserve, review, or report content and accounts when needed for safety, legal compliance, or service integrity.

Subscriptions, free trials, and billing

PurProwler offers optional paid subscriptions (Plus and Pro). Some plans begin with a free trial. Where a free trial is offered it lasts 7 days unless a different length is shown at checkout. When a free trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged the then-current price for the plan you selected, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions are recurring: each subscription renews automatically at the end of every billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time using the manage-subscription tools in the app (or, if you purchased through a mobile app store, through that store's subscription settings). Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid access until then. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, or by the applicable app store; PurProwler does not receive or store your full card details. Plan prices and features may change; we will provide notice of material changes as required by law, and changes apply to future billing periods. Current prices and billing intervals are shown on the Premium page before you check out.

Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel at any time, and cancellation always stops the next renewal. Because subscriptions deliver digital access immediately, payments for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law: cancelling mid-period ends future renewals and you keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for, rather than receiving a partial refund for unused time. We will refund duplicate charges and charges caused by a billing error on our side. Nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have, including any cancellation or withdrawal right under the consumer law of your country or state. If you bought through a mobile app store, that store's refund policy governs and refund requests must go through the store. To request a refund or raise a billing problem, email info@purprowler.com with the account email and the charge date.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PurProwler does not conduct criminal background checks or verify the identity of users, and does not guarantee the identity, conduct, or safety of any user. You interact with, communicate with, and meet other people entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurProwler and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or your interactions with other users; this is the limitation of liability that applies to your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. You agree to indemnify PurProwler against claims arising from content you post or your misuse of the service.

Your account and termination

You may delete your account at any time from the profile/settings surface. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription going forward and removes your account data, subject to the limited retention for safety and legal compliance described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present a safety, security, or legal risk.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PurProwler's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at the email below so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide additional notice where required. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Notifications and PWA installation

Message notifications are optional. Some browsers require installing the PWA or adding it to the Home Screen before notifications can be enabled. You can disable message notifications from the profile/settings surface.

Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict accounts, preserve records, or report activity when necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or service integrity.
